society affects the individual
Society affects the little girl in my book because she has to face reality that she has moved. Her society in China might be way different than it is in the US. The people might be different, they might be nice while the other people in China are mean or the other way around. The clothing in the US is way different than in China. The food might be different in China than the US.
Describe how different characters deal with main conflict
The mom in the book who has just moved to the US has just kinda brushed off the fact she might not be used to the US and learned to live with the fact she had to move and there's nothing she can do. Her daughter on the other hand is handling it harder. She hasn't realized she just has to deal with it but I think in the end of the book she will adjust, learn english and make new friends.
Similar to my narrative
A moment in my book that epitomizes the personality of the main character is knowing she has to adjust to her surroundings because she just moved to the US from China. She has to adjust and deal with the language and the culture. She might now like it but she really has no choice because she has to stay here. This is like my character in my narrative because she has to deal with the way she plays softball. She gets nervous when she plays because of her coach but she just has to deal with it because she wants to stay and play on this team. Therefore, they both just kinda just have to deal with it and learn to like it. This is similar to each other.

How has my character changed
My character has changed from the beginning when she was first introduced. She couldn't really speak English and wasn't adapted to her surroundings. She was very uncomfortable. She is starting to adjust but sometimes it just goes back to the feeling of the beginning when she first came.
