Determine a Symbol : Safe Haven

The woman in Safe Haven that runs away has came off to me as keeping to herself. I think she's this way because of what has happened in her past. She doesn't want anyone to know about her messed up past life. She wants to move on and start over. She is very ancy because of this, gets worked up easily for example when she sees a cop she thinks their looking for her even though they aren't, she freaks out. She doesn't reallt want to make friends. This girl trys to make friends with her but she kinda comes off as not wanting a friendship. I think she does this so she doesn't get close to anyone, so she doesn't have to share her story.

Describe the setting

I actually ended up switching books to the book safe haven. Safe Haven's setting is on an island. The girl runs away from her home before to an island with not many people. Everybody knows everyone. She doesn't want people to know she has left and ended up where she has. She gets here by a bus. She had to plan this right away, she had no time to waste. She had her neighbors help. The island is very peaceful. Dirt roads, ocean, boats and sun. The name of the town is Southport in North Carolina.

describe the setting of the novel

My independent reading book  "the redemption of callie and kayden" has multiple settings. There isn't just one set setting. There are some where they end up a lot but there are tons. One of the main settings is Callie's apartment or friend's that she is staying in. After work the story will lead back to her house. Another setting is her work. A lot of action takes place, where most of it happens. I've only got so far into my book. In the beginning these are the main settings.

Fahrenheit 451

The begginng of Fahrenheit 451 ia already very strange to me. The author's writing style is very different from what I would chose to read. Ray was born on August 22, 1922 in Waukegan, Illinois. As a child, he was a huge fan of magicians, and a voracious reader of adventure and fantasy fiction. Bradbury decided to become a writer at about age 12 or 13.  To support himself he wrote, Bradbury sold newspapers. He published his first short story in a fan magazine in 1938, the same year he graduated from high school. He married Marguerite "Maggie" McClure, whom he met while she was working as a clerk at a bookstore. Bradbury's best-known work, Fahrenheit 451, published in 1953, became an instant classic. Bradbury died in Los Angeles on June 5, 2012, at the age of 91.
