predict

I predict the girl and her mom will not fit in at the very in. Something will go very wrong and ruin everything. I feel this because I feel like the story ending is to good to be true. I feel like there is some twist to it.

Ending

This book is winding down. The girl and her Mom are finally starting to adjust. They feel they can call this place their home. They feel more safe, relaxed and are just joyed to be fitting in.

Recommendation

This book got a little boring. I would recommend this book if you like a good ending. But if you dont like a book with really no suspense, action this book isn't for you, you might get bored. It's a great well thought out book, written very well in good detail. The author did a very nice job.

I would say this book is kinda a love story. Not in a boyfriend girlfriend way but by a  mom and daughter way. This girl and her Mom are struggling at first when they move but when they overcome the struggles they create this bond like no other.So if you like a good sappy story this might be for you.

theme

Kimberly learns to constantly translate not just her language but herself back and forth between the worlds she straddles. The theme of this book is that it can be hard to adjust and move to another part of the world that's totally different. It can be very scary. Kimberly feels alone and is just lost doesnt know what to do. She has to overcome her struggles.

The girl and her mom are forced to do all new different things that they did in Hong Kong. It's sort of a love story. Overcoming hardships and some people might be able to relate like the author or any who has moved far away.
